why me

Common Challenges I Work With

Many of my clients come to me because they experience:

  • Feelings of overwhelm or emotional intensity
  • Difficulty staying focused or organized
  • Social or sensory discomfort
  • Struggles with communication or connection
  • Family tension or parenting challenges
  • Being easily overstimulated or drained
  • Past experiences that still feel “alive” in the present
  • A sense of being different from others, even without having the words for it
  • Lack of sense of self or low self worth

My role is to help you understand your inner world, build tools that work for you, and feel more grounded and supported in daily life.

how i work

A combined therapeutic approach that’s both practical and deeply supportive

Mental Health Counseling

A safe, compassionate space to explore emotions, patterns, and relationships.

Occupational Therapy Perspective

Practical tools for day-to-day functioning — routines, organization, sensory regulation, emotional steadiness.

IFS (Internal Family Systems)

Gentle, trauma-informed “parts work” that helps you understand your inner experience and move toward self-compassion and healing.

Together, these approaches create a balance of emotional insight and real-life strategies, so you can feel supported both internally and in your daily life.

About Rena

Mental Health Counselor | Occupational Therapist | IFS-Trained

I’m trained as a mental health counselor through the PATH Institute in Israel, and I hold an Occupational Therapy degree from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). I’ve worked in clinical and school settings in New York, Los Angeles, and Israel, supporting women, teens, parents, and families.

My background allows me to connect emotional health with practical functioning — helping clients understand what’s happening inside and how to create real-life change.

I offer a warm, grounded space where you can explore, grow, and build tools that truly fit your life.
